Summer Original Play Workshop
Perform a new play! In this summer workshop, you will have the opportunity to be the first actor to originate a completely original script. Roles will be assigned and performers will gain insight into the professional rehearsal process Students will get to originate and workshop their roles. We will work on acting skills and performance techniques.
Week 1: We will introduce ourselves read through the play
Week 2: Roles will be assigned and we will begin scene work.
Week 3: We will do rehearsals OFF BOOK!
Week 4: We will do dress and tech rehearsals
Week 5: We will perform our play and after working through kinks record our performance
Week 6: (optional) to perform again with guests online!
